They suggest you go to a video forum where knowledgeable people can help.The $4.99 price is certainly fair although I would like it better if it wasn't connected to my computer since I tend to get a new computer often or a new hard drive.This is a jack-of-all-trades application, but a master of very little when it actually comes down to it. The developer's website doesn't really have much support. I think if it only contained one language and subtitles, it would work but since I have to deselect a couple of things, it seems to throw it off.I wish I knew what causes this to only convert half the video. This particular MKV contains both French and English audio plus subtitles. I have tried 4 times using different formats and they all look fine except I don't have the full video. My guess this is due to a popular windows x264 (not a compliant H264) codec that has no Mac/Unix/Linux equivalent, and it screws up like this due to improper header information and something critical in the actual image processing that is not completely compliant with H264.On top of that, nothing I have given this new version (MKV Tools), can even get the subitles to burn into the video. The video that results from this and it's previous versions have stalls, drop outs, jumping blocks and in ALL cases now, have a really bizarre form of horizontal digital streaking.
